How it works

  1. See your Juniper GP — they generate a pathology request form (paper or electronic)
  2. Walk straight to our on-site Dorevitch Pathology — no appointment needed
  3. Hand over your form and Medicare card; collection takes 5-10 minutes
  4. Results return to your GP electronically within 1-3 days for routine, same day for urgent
  5. Your GP contacts you for follow-up — or book an appointment to review

Fasting tests — what to know

For tests that require fasting (lipid panel, glucose tolerance, fasting insulin), arrive between 8am and 11am, having had nothing to eat or drink except water for 10-12 hours. Coffee, tea, juice, milk and alcohol all break the fast.
