If you searched for a Williams Landing medical centre, Point Cook may be closer than you think. Our clinic at 2 Juniper Ave sits about 4.5 km south of Williams Landing by road, almost in a straight line down Forsyth Road. It is our only clinic, so all in-person visits happen there.

Straight down Forsyth Road
From most of Williams Landing, head to Forsyth Road and drive south. Past the Princes Freeway it becomes Boardwalk Boulevard; keep going to Dunnings Road and turn in to the parking behind the clinic. The whole trip is about 4.5 km, short enough that follow-up visits and reviews after work are easy to fit in.
A young suburb with a lot of small children
Wyndham City describes Williams Landing as one of the most newly developed areas of the municipality. The 2021 Census shows a median age of 31, with 9.3% of residents under five and only 3.8% aged 65 or over (ABS QuickStats). Six in ten families were couples with children.
About 72% of households speak a language other than English at home, most often Mandarin, Hindi, Punjabi, Telugu or Gujarati, and just over a fifth of residents were born in India.
Vaccines from six weeks onwards
Vaccines on the National Immunisation Program Schedule are free, though the Australian Government notes a provider may charge a consultation fee. At Juniper, childhood immunisations are bulk billed with every doctor, so there is no fee for those visits.

Travelling to see family overseas
With so many Williams Landing families connected to India, China and elsewhere, trips to see relatives overseas may be part of family life, often with children. Is Juniper the right Williams Landing medical centre for working parents?
Weekday appointments run until 8:00pm, and the clinic is also open on Saturday and Sunday, from 9:00am to 5:00pm. Reminder texts let you know when a child’s immunisation or your own preventive check is coming up.

Costs for families
Juniper is mixed billing. All our doctors bulk bill childhood and adult immunisations, GP care plans, pensioners over 65 and DVA card holders. Other appointments may have a gap fee, listed on the fees page.
Common questions
Is there a Juniper practice in Williams Landing?
No. The only clinic is in Point Cook, a short drive south. Phone consultations can also be booked; ask reception about timing and fees.
Can grandparents visiting from overseas be seen?
Yes. Visitors who are not registered with Medicare pay $70 for a standard consultation, by EFTPOS on the day. Check whether their travel insurance covers GP visits, and mention it when booking if an interpreter would help.
How early should we book travel vaccines?
Aim for 6 to 8 weeks before departure. Some vaccines need more than one dose, so an earlier visit gives you more options.
Can my child be seen if they are sick on the weekend?
The clinic opens Saturday and Sunday from 9:00am to 5:00pm. Outside those hours, call 13 SICK (13 7425), and call 000 in an emergency.
